Visited the castle with disability. The ticket office is a 5 minute walk from the car park, unless you have a disabled badge. I was allowed to drive through the main gates and park right outside the estates office where we picked up a free mobility scooter. The scooter was immaculate, fully charged and easy to use and copped with gravel and wet paths. The staff in the cafe were wonderful. Spent 2-3 hours at visiting the gardens. Visitors can also use the open sided truck with bench seats for the trip from the entrance to the start of the audio tour. High chairs available & disabled toilets with changing table made visit more accessible. Enjoyed.
